creative community
Makers supporting makers
A creative community is a network of artists, designers, writers, musicians, or other makers who share work, exchange ideas, and support each other's practice.
The term often describes both physical spaces like artist collectives and online platforms where creators gather: She found her creative community on Instagram.
It can also refer more loosely to the broader ecosystem of people working in creative fields: The creative community rallied behind the proposal for public arts funding.
