community parks
Public outdoor gathering
Community parks are public green spaces maintained by local governments for recreation and leisure.
They typically include playgrounds, sports fields, walking paths, and picnic areas.
Unlike national or state parks, community parks serve neighborhood residents and are usually small enough to walk to: The kids play soccer at the community park after school.
