comedy props
Gag show items
Comedy props are physical objects used by performers to generate laughs—oversized mallets, rubber chickens, squirting flowers, fake vomit.
The humor typically comes from exaggeration, surprise, or incongruity: The clown pulled an endless handkerchief from his pocket.
Prop comedy relies more on objects than wordplay, associated with performers like Carrot Top and Gallagher.
