Gathered written exchanges
Collected letters is a compilation of correspondence written by a notable person, typically published after their death.
Such volumes preserve personal, intellectual, or historical exchanges: The collected letters of Virginia Woolf span six volumes.
The genre offers intimate access to a writer's or thinker's private voice, relationships, and creative process.
