co-operate
Join forces willingly
Co-operate is a variant spelling of cooperate, more common in British English.
To co-operate is to work together toward a shared goal or to comply with a request: The two departments co-operated on the project.
If you co-operate with the investigation, things will go easier for you.
The hyphen preserves the sense of two o's from separate elements.
