chorus parts
Ensemble singer groups
Chorus parts are the individual vocal lines within a choral arrangement, divided by voice type and range.
A standard mixed chorus has four parts: soprano and alto for higher voices, tenor and bass for lower.
Each part carries its own melody or harmony line, and singers are assigned based on their range: She sang the alto part in the school chorus.
