chonker
Plump beloved animal
A chonker is an affectionately fat cat—or by extension, any amusingly overweight animal.
The term emerged from internet culture, where photos of rotund pets are celebrated rather than criticized: Look at this absolute chonker.
The word carries warmth and humor, not judgment, though veterinarians might disagree about whether chonkiness should be encouraged.
