chiropodist
Treats foot ailments
A chiropodist is a medical professional who treats conditions of the feet and lower limbs—corns, bunions, ingrown toenails, and similar ailments.
The term is now largely replaced by podiatrist in American usage but remains common in British English: The chiropodist trimmed the calluses on her heels.
