center seat
Aisle's opposite neighbor
The center seat is the middle position in a row, typically in vehicles or theaters—the spot flanked by others on both sides.
On airplanes, the center seat is notoriously undesirable: no window view, no aisle access, just elbows competing for armrests.
Nobody wants the center seat on a six-hour flight.
