cc line
Carbon copy field
The cc line in an email is where you add recipients who should receive a copy of the message but aren't the primary audience.
It comes from carbon copy, the old office method of duplicating typed documents.
Recipients in the cc line can see who else received the message, unlike bcc (blind carbon copy).
I'll put your manager on the cc line so she's in the loop.
