carryouts
Food to go
Carryouts are food items purchased from a restaurant to be eaten elsewhere, or the containers they come in.
The term is regional, more common in parts of the American Midwest and Mid-Atlantic than elsewhere, where takeout or to-go dominate: We got carryouts from the Chinese place.
A carryout can also be the restaurant itself: There's a good carryout on the corner.
