card set
Matching trading cards
A card set is a complete collection of cards issued together as a unit, whether trading cards, playing cards, or collectible game cards.
Sports card collectors pursue complete sets from particular years: I'm only missing three cards to finish my 1987 Topps set.
In games like Magic: The Gathering, new card sets release periodically with distinct themes and mechanics.
