carbon-copy
Typed paper duplicate
A carbon copy is a duplicate made by placing carbon paper between sheets while writing or typing—the pressure transfers ink to the sheet below.
The term persists in email's "cc" field for sending copies to additional recipients.
Figuratively, a carbon copy is an exact replica of something: The sequel was a carbon copy of the original.
