candelas
Light intensity measures
Candelas is the plural of candela, the base unit of luminous intensity in the International System of Units.
It measures how much light a source emits in a particular direction, as perceived by the human eye.
The candela was originally defined in terms of the light output of a standard candle, which explains its name.
The flashlight produces about 200 candelas at its brightest setting.
