cadaver lab
Dissection teaching space
A cadaver lab is a facility where students—typically in medical, nursing, or anatomy programs—dissect and study human corpses.
The hands-on work with real bodies teaches anatomy in ways textbooks and models cannot: First-year med students spend hours in the cadaver lab.
Also called a gross anatomy lab.
