bucket lists

Mortality-motivated goal inventories

Bucket lists are collections of experiences or achievements someone hopes to accomplish before dying—the "bucket" referring to "kick the bucket." The concept gained popularity after the 2007 film of the same name.

Items typically include travel destinations, adventures, or personal milestones: Skydiving has been on my bucket list for years.

The singular form works as a modifier: a bucket list trip to Machu Picchu.
