boulevardier
Man about town
A boulevardier is a man who frequents fashionable urban streets and cafés, someone who enjoys the social scene of city life.
The word carries a whiff of leisure, sophistication, and perhaps idleness—a person who strolls rather than rushes, who sees and is seen: He fancied himself a boulevardier, always at the right café at the right hour.
Also a cocktail similar to a Negroni, made with bourbon or rye instead of gin.
