book return slot
Drop-off for volumes
A book return slot is an opening in a library wall, door, or freestanding box where patrons deposit borrowed materials, typically after hours when the building is closed.
The slot feeds into a bin or conveyor system inside: Just drop it in the book return slot on your way out.
