boney
Thin and angular
Boney is a variant spelling of bony—thin enough that bones are visible, or having prominent bones: boney fingers, a boney frame.
The spelling with an e is less common but appears in informal writing.
It can also describe food with many bones: The fish was too boney to enjoy.
