blueshifted
Coming toward observer
Blueshifted describes light or other electromagnetic radiation that has shifted toward shorter wavelengths—the blue end of the spectrum—typically because the source is moving toward the observer.
The opposite of redshifted.
In astronomy, blueshifted galaxies are approaching us: The Andromeda galaxy is blueshifted, meaning it's heading our way.
The term extends metaphorically to anything accelerating or intensifying.
