Lane-change safety aid
A blind spot mirror is a small convex mirror attached to a vehicle's side mirror, angled to show areas the main mirror can't reach.
The curved surface provides a wider field of view, revealing vehicles in adjacent lanes that would otherwise be invisible to the driver: I added blind spot mirrors after nearly sideswiping someone on the highway.
