black bishop
Ebony diagonal slider
A black bishop is one of two diagonal-moving pieces in chess, starting on dark squares for the player with the black pieces.
Each side has two bishops—one confined to light squares, one to dark—and "black bishop" may refer either to the color of the piece or the color of squares it travels.
I traded my black bishop for a knight.
