billy goats
Bearded farm males
A billy goat is an adult male goat, distinguished from a nanny goat (female) or kid (young).
Billy goats are known for their strong odor, beards, and aggressive behavior during mating season.
The term appears in the folk tale "Three Billy Goats Gruff." The billy goat butted anyone who came near the fence.
