bespoke suit
Made-to-measure garment
A bespoke suit is custom-made for an individual client, with measurements taken and fabric chosen specifically for them.
The term originated in British tailoring, where cloth was said to be "spoken for" by a customer.
Bespoke suits are distinguished from off-the-rack or made-to-measure garments by their fully individualized construction: He ordered a bespoke suit from a Savile Row tailor.
