baqa

Baqa is an Arabic and Islamic term meaning permanence or subsistence, particularly the eternal existence that remains after the ego has been annihilated.

In Sufi mysticism, baqa follows fana (self-annihilation)—the soul, having dissolved its individual identity, now abides in God.

The concept appears in Islamic philosophy and theology to describe divine permanence contrasted with worldly impermanence.
