alternating weeks
Every other week
Alternating weeks describes a recurring schedule where something happens every other week rather than every week: The kids stay with their father on alternating weeks.
Common in custody arrangements, work schedules, and shared responsibilities.
The pattern creates a two-week cycle where weeks "on" trade with weeks "off."
