allez oop
Acrobatic partner throw
Allez oop is an exclamation accompanying a jump, lift, or acrobatic move—the verbal equivalent of a drumroll before a feat.
From French *allez* (go) and *hop* (a jumping sound), it signals the moment of exertion: Allez oop! And she's on my shoulders.
In basketball, an alley-oop is a play where one player lobs the ball for a teammate to catch and dunk in one motion.
