air brushed
Sprayed with paint
Airbrushed describes something painted or altered with an airbrush—a device that sprays fine mist of paint or ink.
The term now more commonly refers to digitally retouched images, especially photographs altered to remove blemishes, smooth skin, or reshape bodies: The magazine's airbrushed models set impossible standards.
An airbrushed version of events is similarly sanitized or idealized.
