agility trials
Dog obstacle courses
Agility trials are competitive events where dogs navigate obstacle courses—jumps, tunnels, weave poles, seesaws—guided by their handlers.
Speed and accuracy both matter; faults accumulate for knocked bars or missed obstacles.
The sport tests the bond between dog and handler as much as the dog's athleticism: She spends weekends traveling to agility trials with her border collie.
