affectlessness
Total emotional flatness
Affectlessness is the quality of showing no emotion or feeling.
The term appears most often in clinical contexts describing patients whose faces and voices convey nothing—no joy, no sadness, no reaction at all: The psychiatrist noted the patient's striking affectlessness.
Outside clinical settings, it can describe anyone who seems emotionally blank or unreachable.
