achievement points
Virtual accomplishment tokens
Achievement points are a scoring system in video games that rewards players for completing specific tasks or milestones.
They typically accumulate across games on a platform like Xbox or Steam, creating a persistent record of gaming accomplishments.
The points themselves usually have no practical value—they exist purely as a measure of dedication or skill: He's obsessed with maxing out his achievement points.
