Absolute units is internet slang for impressively large people, animals, or objects, used with mock-awe admiration.
The phrase comes from a 2017 tweet praising a large man pictured with Queen Elizabeth: "In awe at the size of this lad.
Absolute unit." The singular absolute unit is more common: That cat is an absolute unit.
