Walk This Way
Imitate my stride
"Walk This Way" is a 1975 Aerosmith rock song that became a cultural landmark when the band re-recorded it with Run-DMC in 1986, creating one of the first major rock-hip hop crossover hits.
The collaboration helped bring rap music to mainstream white audiences and is credited with breaking down genre barriers.
The phrase itself, meaning to follow someone's lead or imitate their style, predates the song but is now inseparable from it.
