Tiffany style
Stained glass lamps
Tiffany style refers to decorative glasswork characterized by colorful stained glass pieces joined with copper foil, associated with the Art Nouveau designs of Louis Comfort Tiffany in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The term appears most often with lamps—those distinctive shades made of hundreds of glass fragments forming floral or geometric patterns: a Tiffany-style lamp over the pool table.
Much of what's sold as Tiffany style is reproduction or imitation rather than original Tiffany pieces.
