The Warriors is a 1979 cult film about a New York street gang fighting their way home through hostile territory.
The title also refers to the Golden State Warriors, a professional basketball team based in San Francisco: The Warriors won the championship.
In general use, warriors are fighters or soldiers, but the capitalized form almost always means the team or the film.
