Shelby Cobra
British-American sports car
The Shelby Cobra is an American sports car produced in the 1960s, combining a lightweight British AC Ace body with a powerful Ford V8 engine.
Carroll Shelby's creation became iconic in American racing and remains one of the most valuable and replicated classic cars: He restored a '65 Shelby Cobra.
The name now applies broadly to high-performance Ford Mustang variants bearing the Cobra badge.
