Rodgers and Hart

Broadway composing team

Rodgers and Hart were an American songwriting duo—composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Lorenz Hart—who created Broadway musicals and popular standards from the 1920s through the early 1940s.

Their songs include "My Funny Valentine," "The Lady Is a Tramp," and "Blue Moon." The partnership ended when Hart died in 1943; Rodgers then partnered with Oscar Hammerstein II.
