Racine
Kenosha's northern neighbor
Racine is a city in southeastern Wisconsin on Lake Michigan, historically an industrial center.
The name, French for "root," also designates Jean Racine, the 17th-century French dramatist whose tragedies rank with Corneille's and Molière's comedies as pinnacles of French classical theater: We're reading Racine in translation.
