Memory stick receptacles
RAM slots are the connectors on a computer's motherboard where memory modules are inserted.
Most desktop computers have two to four slots, allowing users to add or upgrade system memory: The motherboard has four RAM slots, but only two are populated.
Laptops typically have fewer slots, and some devices have memory soldered directly to the board with no slots at all.
