Paleolithic diet
Ancestral nutrition regimen
A Paleolithic diet emphasizes foods presumed available to humans before agriculture—meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds—while excluding grains, legumes, dairy, and processed foods.
The premise is that human bodies evolved to thrive on what hunter-gatherers ate.
Often shortened to paleo diet or simply paleo: I've been doing paleo for six months.
