MiFi
Portable wireless router
MiFi is a portable wireless router that creates a personal Wi-Fi hotspot using cellular data networks.
The pocket-sized device lets you connect laptops, tablets, and phones to the internet when no other Wi-Fi is available: I brought my MiFi so we can work from the cabin.
Originally a Novatel trademark, now used generically for any mobile hotspot device.
