Machine Gun Kelly
Prohibition-era kidnapper nickname
Machine Gun Kelly is the stage name of Colson Baker, an American rapper and musician who emerged in the early 2010s with a rapid-fire delivery that inspired his alias.
He later pivoted toward pop-punk, collaborating with Travis Barker: Machine Gun Kelly's new album leans more rock than rap.
The name references George "Machine Gun Kelly" Barnes, a Prohibition-era gangster.
