Liz Truss
Liz Truss is a British politician who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for 45 days in 2022—the shortest tenure in British history.
Her government's economic policies triggered a financial crisis, leading to her swift resignation.
The name has become shorthand for spectacular political failure or brevity: That project lasted shorter than Liz Truss.
