Kuiper
Icy outer region
Kuiper appears almost exclusively in Kuiper belt, the region of the solar system beyond Neptune containing icy bodies, dwarf planets like Pluto, and short-period comets.
Named for Dutch-American astronomer Gerard Kuiper, who theorized its existence.
Kuiper belt objects are the debris of planetary formation.
