King Boo
King Boo is the main antagonist ghost in Nintendo's *Luigi's Mansion* series and a recurring villain in the Mario franchise.
He leads the Boos—the spherical white ghosts who cover their faces when looked at directly.
Larger and more menacing than ordinary Boos, King Boo wears a crown and harbors a particular grudge against Luigi.
He appears as a playable character in various Mario spin-off games like *Mario Kart*.
