Princess Daisy

Princess Daisy is a character in Nintendo's Mario video game franchise, ruler of Sarasaland and close friend of Princess Peach.

She first appeared in *Super Mario Land* (1989) as a damsel in distress but evolved into an energetic, tomboyish counterpart to the more demure Peach.

Daisy appears frequently in Mario spinoff games—racing, sports, and party titles—where she's known for her competitive spirit and distinctive orange-and-yellow color scheme: I always play as Daisy in Mario Kart.
