Kaczynski

Kaczynski is the surname of Ted Kaczynski (1942–2023), known as the Unabomber, a mathematician who conducted a bombing campaign against universities and airlines from 1978 to 1995.

His name has become shorthand for a certain strain of anti-technology extremism.

Used allusively for anyone whose rejection of modern society tips into dangerous territory: He's gone full Kaczynski, living off-grid and writing manifestos.
