Inspector Clouseau
Inspector Clouseau is a fictional French detective from the *Pink Panther* film series, played most memorably by Peter Sellers.
The character is spectacularly incompetent yet somehow stumbles into solving cases through sheer luck.
His name has become shorthand for bumbling ineptitude that accidentally succeeds: Our IT guy is a real Inspector Clouseau—breaks everything he touches but the system keeps running.
