Guido
Common Italian moniker
Guido is an Italian given name, the equivalent of Guy.
In American slang, often offensive, guido stereotypes a young Italian-American man from the urban Northeast—typically associated with flashy clothes, gold chains, slicked hair, and aggressive masculinity: He looked like a total guido at the club.
The term gained wider currency through reality television in the 2010s.
