Massive wrinkled guardian
French mastiff is another name for the Dogue de Bordeaux, a large, muscular breed of dog with a massive head, wrinkled face, and short fawn-colored coat.
Originally bred in France for guarding, hunting, and fighting, these dogs are known for their powerful build and loyal, protective temperament: The French mastiff drooled on everything in sight.
